Cardigan Bay Watersports
Start-up funds were provided from the EU Objective 1 initiative with a grant from Sport Lot to pay for the building, boats, equipment and to pump prime the enterprise for three years. Ceredigion County Council provided the site for the centre and boat compound. CBW became a Registered Charity and Company Limited by Guarantee in 2006.

New Quay's sheltered water is a natural home for water based activities. The centre provides high quality experiences and a good range of up to date equipment. The Centre has developed a range of activities and training programmes to meet the needs of a wide variety of users, including schools, clubs, businesses and a range of residents and visitors to the area.

To order a voucher for a specific amount enter the quantity in the box next to the 1.00 voucher below. For example if you want to order a 21 voucher, enter the quantity as 21. When you are ready to plan your session call us at the centre on 01545 561257 and quote your order ID to make the booking. PLEASE NOTE that we do not post anything out - your order confirmation is the gift voucher, which you can forward to the recipient or print out.
Founded in 2003 and a registered charity since 2006, the Centre supports a wide variety of school, youth and other groups, many of which are charged at little more that at cost. We have a loyal group of volunteers who give up their time to help on and off the water, but with a very short season to bring in cash the Centre depends on securing grant monies to replace worn-out equipment and fund staff training.
