The Swan is a grade 1 & 2 listed mid-17th century coaching house inn on Thornbury High Street. The Swan is a community pub on Thornbury high street. We have an array of activities going on throughout the week and live music on the weekend. There is a large patio garden to the rear of the pub and we have 3 bed and breakfast rooms which overlook the high street.
The Swan is able to offer traditionally styled bed and breakfast that is in keeping with the era of which it became the first coach house in Thornbury but with a clean modern fresh twist. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with antique fine furniture and light and airy pale pastel colours. All rooms overlook the high street where a wide array of shops, cafes and amenities can be found.
We offer an excellent meeting room space with private bar, tea and coffee machine, large screen TV, and plentiful seating for up to 65 people. Whether you're celebrarting a birthday, anniversary or wedding, or need a room for a charity event, our function room offers plenty of space for dining or dancing.
Skinny Dippers a fantastic covers band that will keep everyone up dancing on their feet - a great party band that will have something for everyone. Come in and see. Limited Edition is a great party function band that plays an array of covers music they will certainly play something for everyone while they are at the Swan Thornbury.
