Services
After a long day in the office, designer Jacqui Sheard would unwind by making bars of crafted organic handmade soap. It was a passion that soon became a profession when she found a cosy little shop in Lacock and started Quintessentially English. Behind our products is an age-old philosophy: When you touch a flower you disturb a star.
Our organic handmade artisan soaps are made in the National Trust village of Lacock in England, using a traditional recipe and only the very finest organic ingredients. Each organic soap is lovingly hand decorated using pretty flowers and botanicals. Every batch of organic soap we make is hand-stirred, and divided up and wrapped in glassine paper.
Our artisan perfumes are very special and speak of ancient English alchemy. They are hand blended and of the very finest quality. These are some of the first products that Jacqui ever created and the recipe is a secret being evocative of true English Rose with a hint of amber notes. The depth of the perfume speaks of authentic fragrance rather than department store aromas.
We all need to be aware of the amount of bottles that land in refuse sites. Our bars are designed to be used multiple times and will last longer than a bottle of shampoo or hair conditioner. Each bar conditions the hair whilst leaving behind a rich moisture so as not to dry it out. Leave to dry between use.
Our massage oils are made with a rich combination blend of Sweet Almond, Coconut, Grapeseed, Jojoba, Avocado, Evening Primrose, Vitamin E and Wheatgerm Oils. Our blends contain pure essential oils that have a deep effect on the mind and body. Whether you want a relaxing massage or an invigorating one each is made with abase that will nourish your skin.

Smashing place. Popped in to pick up a few bits and pieces for Christmas presents, and they took half an hour of their day to make up a lovely little set of soaps, and the presentation was fantastic. Couldn't forget to mention the cup of tea they made for me!

This shop has a lovely feel to it, and it's a nice (cramped) place to walk around, but it felt quit empty of things to actually buy. I would still recommend a visit.
