Set in a beautiful, wooded valley, North Devon Shooting Ground is one of the prettiest shooting grounds you will see. Voted the Nations Favourite Shooting Ground in 2015 by the magazine Clay Shooter and we have also been a regional favourite since 2012.
Stands are set along a pathway which then opens up into a lawned area and on to a winding path through the woods, our shooting ground is popular with both local shooters, holiday makers and shooting clubs from all over the country.Rounds are changed regularly and even after running the shoot for the last 16 years, Clive is still full of surprises and new targets often appear to challenge us!

Clay Pigeon Shooting is a great Stag and Hen Party activity and great fun for a Have A Go group of friends or individuals. Our packages include everything you need - gun hire, cartridges, clays and all the safety equipment with professional tuition from our friendly and experienced instructors. There is no need to worry if your party have never shot before and you are all novices.
Whether you are an experienced game shot looking to keep your eye in or a clay shooter wanting expert advice, or a novice learning from scratch, our shooting lessons are tailored to your needs. All lessons are with Clive and include safety briefing, instruction, gun hire, up to 100 clays and all safety equipment.

Great shoot yesterday, me and my son both novices new to the sport came up from Bristol , was slotted into a group of 4 local lads so 6 total good bunch of guys good shoots also👍🏻gavin was a good instructor mixed up the order so we all went first at some stage nice and relaxed,some great stands varying difficulties but enjoyable would recommend and will be back down here over Christmas for another 100 clays👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Gavin the instructor was absolutely brilliant! Took time to teach three novices who had never shot a gun before!
The guidance given was great, very thorough but in such a relaxed way, everyone was at ease,
Gavin made the experience so much fun that we are looking to book on shooting courses when we get back home after the holiday!
Next time we are down in Devon we shall be booking on another course,
5 stars all the way!

Booked a coaching session with Clive for my husbands birthday. Even thought my husband is a good shot (don’t tell him that) he really enjoyed himself and learnt lots of good tips from Clive who was generous with his time and knowledge. Would highly recommend Clive for coaching from total novices to AA class shooters. Many thank for a great day!!

Absolutely brilliant day out went with my family and the instructor was very good at getting everyone in the family going we all had a great time. The instructor was also very good with my younger autistic brother guiding him and ensuring he also really enjoyed it. I would recommend anyone give it go no matter what you level of experience is be assured you will love it.

This shooting ground is set in a beautiful valley in North Devon and run as a family business.
Clive and Jackie, the owners, always make us welcome and set a good round of targets.
The targets are to a good standard but that maintains the interest and makes the time spent there more enjoyable.
