Drivers need training in how to deal when an ambulance with its lights and sirens on are behind them. I was on the A41 today, travelling towards Telford. I had a Lloyds animal feed lorry behind me. I saw the ambulance coming and indicated and pulled almost completely onto the path, just by the quarry. From what I saw in my rear view mirror the lorry driver wasn’t concentrating as he appeared to brake harshly. The driver then continued to try and get past me! The ambulance went past and I indicated to pull out. However the lorry driver ignored me and pulled in front of me!! The reg was PJ69 SOV

The road between Coolham and Brooks Green in Sussex is indeed a national speed limit road. However the road twists and turns and there are many blind bends and hidden driveways. The highway code says you should drive up to the speed limit depending on conditions and only if it is safe to do so, not exceeding the speed limit is no defence, and the onus is on the traffic on the highway to drive safely knowing that there are houses along the road, not on the homeowners to be able to predict who is driving around the corner too fast. It is madness for a fully laden 30-40 ton lorry to be thundering
