Hebburn Metro first began teaching children to swim in 1968; the same year as the pool at Campbell Park Road opened. The club has trained many County level swimmers over the last 50 years and continues to provide friendly swimming sessions for children of all ages and abilities. Over the years children and young people have represented the club in many leagues and finals.

Services
From 4 years old children can join in our small group sessions in order to help them gain confidence and learn to swim. Once the children have passed stage 7 they are invited to join either our stamina class (45 mins) or friendly pre-squad. They train from 4:15 - 5:15 on Sundays and are welcome to train during the Monday and Thursday sessions.
