Nick and Andy make the jump, and start working for Extraspace full time (from the front room of Nick's house!) The company became agents for other portable building manufacturers, and started to build a small hire fleet. Used the 'TransPAK' system manufactured in Slovenia to provide equipment housings for infa-red scanning equipment at the ports.
Our company is divided into three teams, all of whom are able to work in any sphere of our operations. All personnel are trained in multi-disciplined roles, enabling us to meet our customers requirements by matching the challanges involved with dedicated, professional men and women who understand what you require, and will guide your project through to completion.
Sourcing raw materials for our portable buildings from a diverse range of suppliers brings greater competition to the market place, thus reducing the costs of our procurement from all suppliers. Extraspace has lower administrative overheads and management costs than larger firms, depending on the nature of the procurement and this can result in lower prices to our customers.
At Extraspace, we provide a wide range of services that are tailored around additional space for primary schools. One such project was Clandon Primary School, situated in a tight rural location with requirements for extra classroom space and additional storage space.
