I am an EMDR-trained therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and frequently use this technique when working with clients who are suffering from trauma, anxiety, panic, disturbing memories, post traumatic stress, and other emotional problems. Trevor Beech specializes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy in Dorchester For Trauma, Abuse and Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from many different treatment approaches. Allows you to look deeper into your problems and worries and deal with troublesome habits and behaviors. It's an opportunity to talk through any problems as well as listening and discussing important issues with you.

I've always known what I wanted and gone for it! I held a managerial position in business from the age of 16 and at 22 I started my own business. I ran a successful business for 35 years. During that time I studied psychotherapy (5 years) and related subjects in my free time. Once qualified as a psychotherapist I set up a practice in 1994 which I ran in parallel with my main business.
I offer courses in Mindfulness for stress reduction, Mindfulness-based CBT, and Stress management courses This can be on a one to one or in groups. Since its introduction to mainstream western medicine and society in the late 70's (Kabat-Zinn, 1990), mindfulness has received considerable scholarly attention.
Repeated studies show that by using EMDR therapy people can experience the benefits of psychotherapy that once took years to make a difference. It is widely assumed that severe emotional pain requires a long time to heal. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma.
CBT focuses on how you think about the things going on in your life - your thoughts, images, beliefs and attitudes (your cognitive processes) - and how this impacts on the way you behave and deal with emotional problems. It then looks at how you can change any negative patterns of thinking or behaviour that may be causing you difficulties.
We do this by our 2 practical, one-day, courses in Stress management and Public speaking and business and our executive coaching. Courses are arranged to suit your situation. Is this you or some of your employees? Not enough hours in the day to get everything done? Must follow a rigid routine? Becoming moody, and irritable, maybe even bullying subordinates?
