Gerald took care of the groundworks for my garage build. Quite a tough job in the end and he was always quick to remind me that he would be more comfortable sat in his digger on another job, in the warm and dry listening to Radio 4. Joking aside, Gerald not only took care of the job but also offered a lot of guidance along the way, which he was not obliged to do.
