Gian, the Oliveti Group's MD, and Gareth, Director of Operations, grew the company and by 2005 the company was a force to be reckoned with in Leicester and the Midlands! Oliveti still maintains its family ethos, and the company continued to grow both in staff numbers and turnover value. Oliveti currently employ over 60 people from office staff, across the whole range of trades.
Gian is a joiner by trade, and started the Oliveti Group in 1995. Gian is a passionate, hands on MD, and is actively involved in every area of the business. Working closely with the teams at Oliveti, Gareth ensures we are maintaining our standard which helps the company to grow and improve. Originally starting at the company over 20 years ago as a bricklayer, he now ensures all departments and aspects of the company run smoothly.
Oliveti were instructed to carry out a complete refurbishment of the force changing areas and washrooms at Leicestershire Police Keyham Lane. Marsden Lane bridge is a new bridge walkway which connects the canal path to the Great Central Way. Haymarket Theatre, in the centre of Leicester, had been standing unused for around a decade despite being right in the heart of the city.
Our chosen charity is Muscular Dystrophy UK. It focuses on curing or finding treatments for Muscular Dystrophy to improve the lives of those who suffer with it. This is a charity that has always been close to our heart and we love to help fundraise for them.
We try to do lots of different fundraising events for MD UK, Ben who is part of our team here at Oliveti has run the London Marathon twice before for Archie's Army, which is a touching story in relation to Muscular Dystrophy.Our main way of fundraising is through charity football matches - fun for us but also for a great cause.
