Heritage Garden Buildings
Heritage Garden Buildings Ltd is a family owned business founded in 1978 as Heritage Joinery. Over the years we have been asked time and again to make wooden buildings and structures of all shapes and sizes. We changed into a garden buildings manufacturer and specialise in manufacturing bespoke timber buildings and structures.

We now make high quality buildings to suit your need and fit in with your garden. Our buildings range from stables, animal kennels and small tool stores to large summerhouses, workshops and insulated garden offices. We now occupy a large manufacturing unit where we manufacture all the timber buildings from quality sustainable sourced timber.
Services
We pride ourselves for the quality of the work we do which is why we have been trading for over 25 years. We don't advertise much at all, we rely on word of mouth. This is why it is important for us to maintain very high quality standards in manufacture and throughout our business processes. To achieve our high standards, we include strict quality processes within our factory.
For a base built specifically for the building purchased from us, the size of the base should be no less than 25mm (1) smaller than the building in both length and width. This is to prevent excess water sitting on the base and also the splash back effect of the rain falling from the roof. The ground must be prepared correctly for each of the base types below.
Warm in winter, cool in summer - you need double walls and insulation in your garden office from bespoke Heritage Garden Buildings. Insulation and electicity is also useful for summerhouses and play sheds, where you might use it throughout the year. For a garden office as a home office, lighting and power for equipment is essential.
A shady position away from the heat of direct sun may be better for a general storage building. A position that becomes excessively damp during the colder months may prevent the exterior surface of the shed from dying out after rainfall. We recommend that you position your garden building a minimum of 300mm (12) away from an adjacent boundary fence to allow for maintenance of your building.
On all timber buildings regular maintenance is essential to prelong the life of the building. Even on Tanalised buildings, once yearly treatment is still needed. Timber is a natural material and is therefore suceptible to warping, splitting an shrinking due to changing temperatures and weather conditions.
