Great place for shopping , eating and nice parking. Hygienic quality is high , toilets are eco- friendly and super clean. It has Basingstoke library at church street entrance which is great for public. Always I am so happy to be at festival place with my family.

Gone downhill really fast. Went in to look for a birthday dress for my daughter today and couldn’t find anything nice anywhere. Would definitely not recommend

It was good to go shopping and have a nice bit of food. Definitely worth the 25 minute drive. Parking is well organised (as long as you don't forget your colour) and cheaper than a lot of places. I just got lost, that's all. It's very big, but a bit complicated, not in a bad way.

I would like to make a formal complaint about the santa in your Santa's Grotto, we visited today 18/12/2021 for my two children to see santa at 12.20, we went round the decorations which I think wasn't much, the only thing that was pretty about the decorations was the white reindeer. When it was my two kids turn to see santa it was a car crash… right from the start, they handed him their christmas wish letters they took time to write that morning in which he just took the letters and said he will read them later which was ok but there was no thank you nothing, he asked my 5 year old son

Well laid out shopping complex with easy access on three sides to the Malls, Top of Town and a good entertainment area which has many decent restaurants catering for a variety of cuisines as well as a Vue cinema complex. The centre also has ample undercover parking as well as outdoor parking around the complex.

I like Festival Place, it is spacious, plenty of cafes ..and shops. Even when busy it never feels crowded. Obviously with the COVID issues, a few premises are vacant, but even these are made to look good.
'Eat Street' is always a good place to find a variety of cuisines.

Fairly large mall in close proximity to Basingstoke train station which makes it convenient for a day trip. Lots going on at this time of year, performers playing instruments and dancing which is good for kids. Usual standard of shops, nothing too high end which is nice, would be nice to have something to do for entertainment such as a cinema or an amusement arcade etc.

He came home deeply distress and upset as he was unable to get his shopping yesterday. I think this is absolutely disgusting how he was treated in this store These staff members need spoken to.

Shopping Centre fine, plenty of shops and some you won't find locally like a soap shop. There is also a German kebab shop to be opened which is worth visiting if your a kebab nut. Picture of burger King about to hit a triple whopper full force.

Beautiful shopping centre, we particularly loved the Waterstones store, impressive and large plus it has its own café upstairs...It was closed because it was on a Sunday evening but we made a promise to come back soon.

I visited on a very busy Saturday ( 10/10/2020) this large shopping centre had only one of its toilets open. Therefore there was a very long queue down a narrow corridor, making social distancing impossible. I have a radar key and was able to access the only disabled toilet in the shopping centre. To get the this toilet I had to fight my way… through the crowd. ( I am immune suppressed) All the other 3 toilet blocks were barracked Off. With no access to disable toilets. This is not a safe shopping experience and I wouldn’t suggest going there if you need to use disabled toilets, have

What a fantastic shopping experience this was, cheap parking and lots of spaces, lots of choice for shopping, especially Punkyfish and select, plenty of choice to get food and a huge Primark. Pound shops, mens clothes, chocolate and little independant sellers, basically all you could want under one roof. I found this centre less hectic than other bigger centres and feel this is what made the experience all the better. Very close to train station also if you do not have access to a car, can't wait to return.

Agree with all of the comments below, Festival Place has done a lot to improve Basingstoke's image. If you watch Top Gear, Festival Place is the indoor shopping centre that Jeremy Clarkson drove the new Ford Fiesta around (well, through acually) at the end of 2008.

This place is a lot better than I was expecting. There's a reasonable range of shops and it's ideal for an evening out as there's cheap parking in the evenings and a great range of restaurants ina nice covered area out the back. The cinema is great but pretty expensive. It's very close to the train and bus stations too.

Nice shopping centre with a great selection of shops - on a par with Guildford city centre really, indoors, but smaller. The area outside has a good range of restaurants plus a Vue cinema. It is also right next to the railway station so easy to get to even if you are not driving.

Changed the way the world viewed Basingstoke! I used to go to Reading, Southampton or Guildford before Festival Place was built. Now I very rarely find the need to go further afield.

Has a wide selection of shops, places to eat/drink and is always kept clean and tidy. Plenty of parking too, which always helps.

If you've not been before, it's worth a visit.

Compared to what Basingstoke was like 8 years ago this place has radically transformed the landscape and all for the better. The centre is light attractive and airy, and almost perceives a certain element of class. There are a large number of retailers here who are all high street names including Debenhams, BHS, M&S to name a few. There is a large cinema and many eating places, its more of a multifunction destination rather than simply a shopping centre. The kids always go to the cinema while we go shopping so we dont get annoyed with each other and it works really well. Car parking is very

When I first moved to Basingstoke 15 years ago the town centre was a damp, ugly, concrete place with a poor range of shops. Since Festival Place opened, it's completely different. Festival Place is a big, spacious, bright, clean, attractive shopping centre with all the usual High Street stores. The range of dining options is good particularly with places like Wagamama and Gourmet Burger Kitchen and the cinema in the town centre is excellent, with loads of screens and comfortable seats. This really is one excellent place to do your shopping, with all the shops you could ever want to use.
