Services
The story began in 1953 when entrepreneurs, Geoffrey Peter Whitworth and Ronald Francis Oxley set up a plant hire company and named it Neagron Construction Ltd. The name Neagron evolved from an anagram of the names of Ron, and Geoff's wife, Jean, who worked as their secretary. They started the company with no assets other than an office at Abbey House, in the Victoria area of London.
As support to our own rental and client's purchased machines, NRC service engineers are expert in all aspects of crawler crane repair. At our Orsett premises we have the benefit of an extensive crane engineering workshop, offering complete facilities for Crane Service, Major Repairs, Modification, Testing and Overhaul.
NRC operate an extensive hire fleet of Crawler Cranes, with Mini Cranes in 5t, 6t and 8t Capacity, available with or without rubber Track Pads. Larger Telescopic Crawler Cranes from 25t to 100t Capacity, and finally one of the UK's largest fleet of Lattice Boom Crawler Cranes ranging from 35t to 120t Capacity.
All models benefit from the latest state of the art Low Emission Engines, and a range of green credentials including Eco Winches, and Auto Idle Start / Stop. Coupled with this, NRC are able to offer the Linkbelt range of Telescopic Crawler Cranes ranging from 51t to 230t, again these models all come as standard with the latest Low Emission Engines.
NRC are one of the UK Construction Industry's top choices for supplying Crawler Cranes to sites around the country, experienced in providing Crawler Cranes to civil engineering projects, from bridge building to, flood protection and Shaft construction to tunneling works. NRC cranes have operated on the construction of many projects such as Office buildings, Schools, Prisons, Hotels and Industrial complexes.
