I offer private piano tuition in performance and music theory as well as exam entry to local exam boards such as ABRSM, LCM & RSL, although more are available with other tutors. I have performed during official school events, presentations & for private concerts. I have also accompanied performers during competitions as well as choirs during practice periods, in some cases providing recordings for them to practice with.
Please feel free to contact me at enquiries@nathanjhenry.co.uk with any questions you may have. While I have not been awarded Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) I have experience teaching in schools (mainly primary) as a Peripatetic piano teacher. I have been criminal record checked by the Disclosure & Barring Service which replaced the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check.

Services
Piano lessons are held at my home on a Kawai K30 upright piano in a room with direct outdoor access. Please note that I have no facility available for wheelchair access, nor am I equipped to teach those who require specific care. Not all lessons have to be long term, but those that are will benefit from tailored, comprehensive instruction.
The following are frequently asked questions that I have received during my years as a piano teacher. The list is in no way definitive as more will be added if asked often enough! In order to cancel tuition notice must be given one month in advance. This is best achieved by determining which month you would like to stop tuition & notifying me when you pay for the penultimate month.

My 15 year old daughter started lessons with Nathan in February as part of her Duke of Edinburgh. She has finished her DoE but has decided to continue her lessons as she enjoys them. Nathan is a patient and encouraging teacher and my daughter has learnt a lot in a short space of time. He’s also a brilliant pianist!
