The Head Gardener's community outreach is deep rooted in its history. Current owner and local philanthropist, Alison McRitchie, took over the business in 1988 and has grown it to become a household name in Inverness.
Recognised for its charity involvement, the Head Gardener works closely with the Highland Hospice, raising money and awareness through annual fundraisers, including the ever-popular Stylish of the North, Strictly Inverness events, and Highland Hearts of Gold, all of which have raised over 400,000 in the last four years.

Had my haircut today by David and I have never been so pleased with a salon experience, from the customer service, David’s knowledge and expertise as well as of course the quality of the cut itself. Everyone is so friendly yet professional and the salon itself has a lovely vibe. I can’t wait to return for my Christmas cut and hope I leave once again in as good a mood as I did today - I’m sure I will!

Really disappointed with the zero tolerance approach of missed appointment fee. I don't normally book ahead as my schedule is busy.
The salon encourage me to book ahead so I went along with it.
I realised 2 days after I had missed my appointment, and checked my texts for a reminder. I had missed the text that had been sent at 8pm the night before, which made it impossible to adjust my appointment within 24hrs (if I had noticed it).
I run my own business and I find this lack of understanding given the circumstances extremely poor customer service. This is my first and only time of missing an
