We actively encourage all new clients to meet our staff and take a look round before booking in their pet. There's no need to arrange a viewing in advance, just call in - Monday to Saturday 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm. Our dogs have been regular guests at Woodlands for over 10 years. The staff have always been most helpful, friendly and caring.

Services
We've been in pet care for more than 25 years and our expert team are professional, friendly and fun. They make sure all our pet guests are well-looked after and happy. Our modern pet accommodation is clean, comfortable, centrally-heated and secure. We have a grooming parlour, a hydrotherapy pool, a veterinary treatment room and full vet cover, as well as indoor and outdoor Astroturf and covered exercise runs.
Pets can stay for a short or long visit, and we can arrange for dogs from the same household, or cats from the same household, to board together. If you're at work or away from home we can look after your pet during the day. We can also keep your pet overnight if you're going away or you're planning a party or special event.
Our staff are trained in a variety of grooming techniques, from a regular wash, cut and blow-dry to full competition styling - all in our fully-kitted grooming parlour. A quick make over groom - ideal to remove dead hair - keeping your dog's coat in tip top condition, whilst also preventing matting.
We have extensive dog training experience, gathered over many years showing, training and breeding for Crufts. The complete spectrum of training is covered, from pre-pet instruction and puppy socialising, through to regular obedience training and preparation for show events. We can develop a training programme to suit you and your pet's needs, as well as providing group or one-to-one lessons.
We have plenty of dog bowls and leads on site and there's no need to bring these when your pet stays at Woodlands. We have a fully-equipped grooming parlour and our staff are experienced in a variety of grooming techniques. Our staff are trained to give medication and will ensure your pet is given its treatment when required.

It was a first visit for my dog at Woodlands, my dog has been in kennels before and has been very happy.
Picked him up from Woodlands and straight away I noticed him limping, checked his paws and the pads were very red and he had a few sores.
Also he was sick in the car and the next day, not himself at all.
The staff seemed very nice and helpful but will look for another kennels.

Never again, we turned up early to pick up our cats and they looked surprised was told that they had eaten well but they were so hungry they ate more in 3 hrs and 2 bowls of water then they would in a day. My male cats white fur was yellow and stunk of urine bless him we had to bath him, also took him to the vet. We would like to have this place checked out.

I’m really not sure about this cattery. The staff were friendly enough. They looked after my cat for 4 nights, charged me £96 though. I am concerned about how this place is representing itself as a kennel and cattery, yet there are no photos online of the cattery. When I arrived I asked to see the cattery, they wouldn’t let me as someone is on-site clinically vulnerable. Left me a bit worried. They did send photos, runs appear very basic. My cat came back having lost weight and was sick a few times on the first night. But apart from that seems to be fit and healthy. 3 stars because, although

Fantastic kennels and cattery. Our family all use them for numerous cats and dogs and every time our animals have been looked after superbly. Recently my mum's cat was there and had an injury from prior to his visit. The staff looked after him amazingly well, took him to the vets when needed and kept us informed at all times. The care and attention was fabulous and the staff very considerate.

Excellent service, happy to leave our much loved dog in their capable hands. He enjoys his holiday there as much as we enjoy ours. Never had any issues and our dog is happy and well looked after every time we collect him. Other services offered also like baths, nail cutting and also behavioural classes on offer. Would recommend these kennels to anyone.
