PQA is a weekend performing arts Academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist expert teachers.
Our Comedy & Drama lessons provide our students with the knowledge of theatrical forms and. Pauline discovered acting at the age of 9 when a couple of after-school clubs were formed by local teachers. One was Country Dancing, the other was a Drama club. Not fancying Country Dancing, Pauline joined the Drama Club and has not stopped entertaining the nation since.

Pauline and her husband Steve opened their first Academy when they couldn't find anything that ticked all the boxes for their son, Charlie. They wanted to be able to provide performing arts tuition that was enjoyable, fun and would build children's confidence.
More importantly, they wanted to help young people to pursue their life's dreams, whatever those dreams may be, using drama to help children realise their potential and blossom into confident young people. To Pauline and Steve, the performing arts is more than just singing and acting and they wanted to reflect that at PQA.

I have been on a waiting list for over a year in Worcester.. the local lessons are held in a private school - my daughter goes to state school. I promised her a place as she is talented and has won local talent competitions and wants to be involved. I’ve contacted PQA and they never bother to reply. Absolutely disgusted to be honest and 1 little upset girl. 👎

ABSOLUTELY LOVE PQA EARLSFIELD. Always encouraging us to be ourselves and be amazing. The staff really helped keep our spirits up during the pandemic, and did the very best they could at keeping my son engaged with PQA live each week with dances, scripts and even managed to put a show and an awards ceremony together. All of the staff are fantastic… and I felt inspired by what was accomplished in such challenging times with the resources they had. I commend you all. My son loves being a part of the PQA family and is super excited now that you are back in person with all the safety measures

Just to give heads up for those who are leaving the academy in the nearest future, online academy turned out to be not free. They refuse the refund for April on the basis that you’ve had access to the online academy, regardless whether you used it or not and whether your child liked it or not! Terrible customer service!

My daughter started at Windsor over a year and would barely speak to anyone, however now she scours the internet for open auditions and shows so much confidence in everything she does. I cannot praise this academy enough for the support they give. Sarah takes time out to help and know each of the kids very well. The classes are of a very high standard and I wouldn’t send my kids anywhere else. I love PQA
