Whether it's for toddlers, teenagers or your whole family, our studio will always have the photography options to suit you. James has been a professional photographer for over 20 years, he's seen it all (and photographed most of it too!) We have children and a grandchild and know they can be little angels and devils all at the same time, so please just come along and bring your smiles and let us worry about the rest!
The first few days of a baby's life are so magical and incredible! Being able to freeze those precious moments for you is a joy! Parents play an important role in making the newborn shoot a successful, pleasant and enjoyable one. I highly recommend booking your newborn session as early as three months prior to your approximate delivery date.
Whether you would like photographs of yourself, your pet or your little one, this session will give you up to an hour in the studio. If you would like us to supply any additional props, like balloons for a cake smash shoot, or bunting for your puppy's first photos, then we will ask you to cover any costs.
All of our albums are individually designed in our studio. They are then sent to Italy to be lovingly handmade by skilled craftsmen and women. After being carefully wrapped in love and protective packaging they are delivered straight to our studio. Below are some of the examples of what is possible with our luxurious albums.
All our wall art is lovingly hand made in England and Italy by skilled craftsmen. We hope the pictures below will give you an idea of what your pictures can look like framed on a wall. We can also use your pictures to mock up designs just for you! Our experience from our first contact is about delivering high quailty bespoke wall art for you to hang pride of place in your home.

Thank you so much to Katie and James for our beautiful wedding photographs. We first met Katie and James at the National Wedding Show in Birmingham and instantly felt comfortable chatting with them. This was particularly important for us as neither of us are the biggest fans of having our photos taken! To help with this even more, we had a pre-wedding photo shoot which was a lovely way to get to know Katie and James a little better and we had some gorgeous photos taken in a beautiful and relaxed location. They are both lovely people and so talented. On the wedding day we had lots and lots of rain

James and Katie photographed our wedding in 2018 and have kept in touch so when our little girl was born we went over to the studio for a newborn photo shoot.
As this was during COVID-19 times this had to be done socially distanced but they set up the shots for us and directed us to pose our daughter.
The shots are so lovely! We had a really nice morning revisiting the studio to view the pictures and consider purchasing them. Katie showed us all the options and allowed us to take our time narrowing down all the lovely images to our favourites. There isn’t the pressure to buy you get from other

We had Lightdraw do our Wedding pictures which also included a pre-wedding shoot to meet with James and get comfortable being in front of the camera. James is very personable and made us and our guests feel comfortable. We had the usual set wedding pictures(brides side, grooms side, all guests etc etc) which came out brilliantly but some of the best pictures were from when James took them in "stealth mode"; you didn't really know he was there, but when you look at the pictures there are some great shots. Fast forward a few years and Lightdraw(when Katy joined them) also did a family shoot for us

Kat and James were amazing for our newborn shoot, My baby being so premature and recently out of Nicu, I was nervous about her being held by anyone. They we’re absolutely incredible, there was no rush, I was able to feed and they just worked round us. Made the whole experience wonderful.
My photos are utterly amazing and I will treasure them forever. Thank you for being so wonderful and look forward to another session.

Our first experience of Lightdraw was at our sons wedding.. as with follow up family pictures of our grandchildren, the photographs have been exceptional.
Then this continues with our great grandson.. Every photograph is very different in composition, but all capture the personality of the individuals even in group settings.
Currently in conversation with the Lightdraw team for a bespoke artwork incorporating one of their own photographs.

Can't recommend Lightdraw enough - the photos of our Wedding were stunning, they blew me away. I'm not a natural in front of the camera but they put my fears to rest and I loved what they managed to capture. Great fun to work with and hugely talented - the best decision we made for our celebration! Book them, you won't regret it...

James and Katie photographed our wedding back in 2017. From the moment we met them, we knew they were perfect for the job! Personable, professional and excellent at what they do - a great team! We got to know James and Katie a little better at our pre-wedding shoot where we had lots of fun as a family creating shots in the rain!

We first used Lightdraw when our son and daughter in law got married. We were absolutely thrilled with their photographs. Lightdraw seem to be able to take the most unique and special photographs. They have taken photographs of me and my husband and I have always loved every one of them. One of my favourites is the one they took of me and my daughter for a Mother’s Day surprise. We are hoping to book them for our Golden Wedding photographs.
