I went to Broughtons to look for a new piano simply because I think my grandmother bought my childhood piano from there many many (many) years ago, and I’m so glad I did! I had initially placed an order over the phone for a Kawai grand but global supply issues meant that I wouldn’t be able to get it as fast as I needed it (this wasn’t particular to Broughtons - every piano shop I spoke to was in the same situation for that particular model). I spoke with the salesman Thomas and asked if I could go up and have a look to see if there were any other pianos I liked that might be available sooner

We are delighted with the Bechstein piano we bought from this company.
We visited last autumn twice, before we decided on a suitable instrument.
The selection of pianos was impressive. Thomas, the salesman was helpful and courteous. He was happy to demonstrate several models for us and allowed us to try many pianos at our leisure, leaving us alone as long as we liked without interference. The owner, Glen, was kind and welcoming and ready to help in any way he could.
Great customer service - thank you.
Our only regret is that we cannot play as well as Thomas!

What a simply wonderful display of every type of piano you could imagine!
We had a simply super afternoon choosing a digital piano for our Church and playing pianos that I would never have imagined I would play!
Thomas was so extremely helpful, giving me space to play and try out the pianos and explaining what was available. I am delighted with the choice we made and look forward to the delivery next week.
Going home in the car, we both said how much we had enjoyed the experience and and how fantastic the showroom is.

Broughton's gets 5 stars for the huge selection of pianos; for the spectacularly expert and helpful staff; and for the wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, so that you can try as many pianos as you need to, until you find the one that’s exactly right for you.
My husband and I came here because I wanted to step up from an electric keyboard to a proper digital piano. The website says they're the Midlands’ largest supplier – but I think people would happily travel from well outside the Midlands, just to get the level of service and expertise we found.

I made contact with Broughton to enquire if they would like to repurchase a piano bought from them. After a very positive helpful conversation with Thomas I provided an email with all the details they requested and was told I would receive a call back from Lucy in the next day or so. After not receiving any call or email response I chased Lucy a number of times finally after speaking with her she said I will email I. The next 48 hrs. Received nothing from her, they talk the talk but DONT walk the walk! Try someone else!

If you are looking at buying an acoustic piano, look no further than broughton pianos. They were extremely helpful and offered lots of good advice before I finally settled on a bechstein academy A124. They were also very patient when I was chasing (daily!) updates on the piano delivery caused by manufacturing delays, which were obviously outside of their control! I thoroughly recommend them

I visited Broughton’s, the first place on my piano purchase journey. The space is appropriately warm, welcoming, light and airy. I booked an appointment and so was the only person there trying out instruments. Thomas, their sales manager, was discretely around and available but not intrusive. I found his approach helpful and gave me some confidence.

Absolutely first class people. I part exchanged my Kawai for a Hoffman and it was delivered yesterday by two very professional, polite and careful lads and I’m so very pleased. Both Thomas and Glen were excellent and there was no pressure to buy. I was allowed plenty of time to try anything I wished and there was tea! The showroom is lovely, light and airy and it’s in a beautiful setting. I can highly recommend these guys, so very very pleased. A big thank you from me!

After a long journey of trial & error throughout which Glenn was ever patient & accommodating, Thomas has now got his dream piano & is very happy with the sound of his Kawai Aures!
