Craig Polles was a successful Driving Instructor for a number of years before deciding to share his expertise and experience with others by moving on to Driving Instructor Training for a National company. During his time there, he realised that a more individual approach was necessary to give Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs) a much better chance of being successful in their chosen career.
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that the standard of driving on today's roads is simply not satisfactory. As a driving instructor, this is your chance to play a big role in the development of new skills for learner drivers and also to influence how your pupils will drive for the rest of their lives - by showing them a safe and responsible attitude toward driving.
Yesterday my life changed, as I passed my ADI Part 3 test and I have finally achieved my goal of becoming an ADI! I couldn't have done any of this process without Craig's training and help. He ensures he gets the best out. I passed my ADI part 3 with good grade and I would like to thank Craig for his training and encouragement.
What happens when you qualify? The choice is yours. We will offer any support and advice you require. We have a number of driving schools in regular contact with ourselves informing us of any openings for ADIs or PDIs. Whether you start up on your own or work under a larger driving school we will be on hand to help.
Part 3 is to assess the quality of your instruction and the ability to pass your knowledge on to pupils. You will be required to give a driving lesson to a real pupil while an examiner assesses your ability to tailor the training to that pupil's learning goals and needs. This test can be taken at a regional DVSA test centre and is the most demanding of the examinations.

Passed my test today with help from my instructor Sara & without her help I wouldn't of done it, she is brilliant to learn with, puts you at ease and makes you feel relaxed whilst learning, she helped me so much & I can't recommend her enough!

I've had a really nice experience with Paul. He helped me pass the test from the 1st try. He was also very flexible which I really appreciate. Not only did I learn how to drive but I've also learned how to be more patient and that good things come to those who persevere.

A great experience. Jamie was my instructor and helped me pass my test 1st time. He is friendly, patient and very thorough. Made me comfortable from the 1st lesson through to test day. Jamie is great to get on with and fills you with confidence. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this driving school i passed first time with my instructor Joe and from the minute i got in the car he made me feel at ease and showed me how to drive safely from the way he spoke and the way he showed me how to do things I wasn't so confident with was second to none his instructions during every lesson was clear and i knew where i needed to improve at the end of each lesson and what to look at improving on the next lesson Thanks again Joe helped me from start to Finish.

I was fortunate enough to have found Craig Polles Driving School and have Jamie as my instructor. At the beginning of every lesson, Jamie briefed me on the structure of that lesson so that we could address any worries I may have before we got on the road - something which I found very useful. He was very patient and not once did he make me feel like I was an inconvenience whenever I made multiple mistakes.
Alongside the rules of the road, Jamie provided me with knowledge I could carry beyond the driving test to ensure that I would be safe when driving by myself. I had to take my test in a city

I had Andy as my instructor. I’m so grateful that he took me on during a time where it would have been easy to say no due to effects of the pandemic. Instead Andy went out of his way to fit me in for extra lessons before my test and my driving really came on. He gave great advice and taught me new things in a way that was easy to understand and remained calm and constructive if I made any mistakes. I would highly recommend!

I have recently passed my driving test (first time!) and I can't thank Sara enough. I had lessons with two other instructors before and didn't think my confidence would ever grow. I was told about Craig Polles and was recommended to have lessons with Sara who has been welcoming from the start, has made me feel comfortable and confident.
