Services
Powder coating is a method of providing a paint coating over a variety of metals, ie aluminium or steel. In comparison to other methods such as liquid or spray, powder coating does not require binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The powder coating method involves the application of an electric charge to both the object and the powder, which ensures a perfect coverage before heat curing.
Abrasive blasting uses compressed air which enters a pressure vessel. The abrasive is inside the vessel and when this is pressurised it is forced through a blasting hose to a nozzle where the air abrasive stream is taken down in size to achieve 100psi of pressure which is essential for the removal of coatings and corrosion, of course achieving the correct surface profile.
