Services
The "Old White Flour Mill" at Crediton served the needs of the neighbourhood, grinding flour for bread, and continued to do so until the development of sea-power brought in cheap wheat from abroad. Large mills were then erected in our main ports and gradually the smaller country mills went into decline.

Whilst Matt is the technical manager of our forage services team he is also part of our ruminant technical team. John brought his considerable dairy expertise to CMC in 2015, immediately becoming a key part of our ruminant technical team joining Matt, Pete and Mark. Pete Davis joined as our first ruminant nutritionist and the original member of the CMC technical team.
Russell is an important member of our management team and leads our poultry sector. His knowledge of poultry stems back over 25 years and he is a substantial poultry grower himself, on his farm at Black Dog. Will is an integral part of our team with a broad knowledge of the feed industry.
He has earned a Diploma in Nutrition from Harper Adams, spent 2 days a week for 6 months working at Blackdog Free Range eggs, passed his HGV test and has worked in the mill and warehouse.Harriet was brought up on the family farm in Berkeley, Gloucestershire and has since graduated with a degree in Agriculture from the Royal Agricultural University.

Writing this recommendation based on my experience of their drivers, whilst I’m cycling on the local roads. Every time I have been passed by a CMC lorry, they have consistently been patient, cautious and friendly. They keep their distance, give loads of space and appreciate it when I let them pass. (I’m not one for purposefully holding up heavy goods vehicles, it doesn’t help anyone). So thank you CMC, it really is appreciated...especially when this kind of experience is rare on the A377.

You won't find another company like this. As soon as you phone them you get a happy and very helpfully person on the other end. Then there is the delivery drivers always very helpful, cheerful and very polite. The company does there very best to get your order to you as soon as possible. Couldn't ask for more and a big thank you from Moore free range eggs
