Services
We are pleased to announce the arrival of BRAND NEW Tippman paintball guns that allow hours of endless fun adrenaline filled games, but don't bruise or cause the pain of the old guns. Enjoyed the game but hated the pain. Come and try our new game fields and brand new equipment. Feel for yourself the difference, enjoy the laughs and enjoyment of the games but no bumps or bruises to show you have played!
The closest postcode for the site which will take you into the village of Penllyn is CF71 7RQ. Please follow directions from the A48 below. Travel along the M4 Motorway, leave at junction 33 and follow the A4232 link road towards Cardiff. If travelling from around Cardiff take the A48 out of the town to Culverhouse Cross roundabout and get onto the A48 towards Cowbridge.
For any enquiries or if you'd like to request an information pack about any of our activities, please fill in all of the required fields below. A member of staff will reply asap during normal office hours (Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm). Please check your junk box in case our reply email has gone in there by mistake.
At the start of the day you'll be issued with all the equipment you'll need. Combat clothing, a full face mask and goggles, protective head cover and of course your weapon. Using state of the art technology, the guns fire further, and straighter with a lighter smaller pellet, unlike other guns, will not bruise or mark the skin, or leave unsightly marks.
Airsoft is a military simulation game similar to paintball, however the guns used are replicas of real guns such as the M16, AK47 or like our rental guns the M4 Carbine. Guns fire small plastic pellets (known as bb's) at a rate of up to 600 a minute. The range of the gun depends very much on the model but on average they fire accurately up to 40 to 50 metres.

Bought some vouchers from a chap called Paul, who wrote to a business directly to sell tickets during lockdown £20 PP for a VIP day, taskforce branded vouchers and provided them with photos of the vouchers. Told I couldn't use them as they no longer accept these types of vouchers. Not too helpful when asked what I could use them for, as I was told I'd need to pay more as part of a new day package. When I called the bloke he grovelled a bit but no resolution. Money down the drain.

One star is too many! Bought a groupon voucher during Covid and was told by them that this wasn't a problem and that when things get back to normal we could arrange the booking.
Now bookings are allowed i have been told that they won't honour it, they can't make money on it go and get your Groupon money back.
I explained we had an email from them and in there words it said "no problem, we can extend and book when possible again" only to be told by a very rude guy on the phone today "well i'm changing those words and we wont take your groupon voucher, we only did that in covid but it busy again

Running for 31 years Taskforce is a place close to the hearts of many. opened in May 1989 by the Chinn family it has developed a legendary status in south wales and surrounding areas from generations of stags, hens, birthdays, bonding sessions and bar/bat mitzvah's and generally as a place where kids and grown ups can go have at it in a slightly less than harmless way (it is paintball and airsoft after all) though there are painless alternatives available. Hosting here is second to none, everyone is welcome and everyone is a friend. the marshalls are the keenest and most sharp eyed and equally

I can't praise this place enough. Booked it for a 10th birthday party and a great day was had by all.
The price included a burger (delicious and freshly cooked for you) and there was free tea and coffee for anyone who went but wasn't taking part. You could also take your own refreshments such as snacks, drinks and a cake so weren't pressured into buying everything on site although everything was reasonably priced anyway.
The paintballs were divided and given at the start of each game so again there wasn't any hard selling or pressure to purchase more as is the case with similar places.
