Services
Offering Tensile Structure design services, and enhancing outdoor spaces with the best in fabric detailing and engineering. Fabric structures provide great opportunities to cover outdoor spaces in a uniquely different way from traditional building methods. The eye catching tensioned membranes are universally appealing on account of their sweeping curves, stainless steel rigging components and rugged durability.
We are committed to providing all of our clients with a consistently high quality, professional service, from testing a single fabric sample, or giving budget prices for canopies, right through to the full design, supply and installation of the structure and membrane. Within the tensile fabric structure industry itself, fabric testing, patterning and detail design form the basis of the services we offer.
With a degree in 3D Design, Phil spent many years working in the construction and fabrication industries in the UK, France and Australia. His experiences eventually led him to working with fabric in the early 1990's, producing and installing some bespoke internal blind structures for a London architect.
There are some questions that crop up quite regularly regarding membrane structures, so here are some answers. Well the answer of course depends on the specification required, the type of fabric, and the design of the supporting structure. As a permanently installed external structure, it needs to be fully engineered, just like any building or other external structure in a public location.
There's a depth of understanding to tensile membranes that belies their clean and simple lines, so here are some quite specific articles for your information. They cover many fundamental aspects of fabric structures in quite a lot of detail, some are fairly technical and others less so. We really want them to be useful to you, and if you want to comment on any of them, we'd be happy to hear from you.
