Services
Our buildings are manufactured off site in a controlled factory environment, unaffected by weather conditions and delivered pre-finished to site, thus reducing time spent on site, minimising disruption, noise, vehicle movement and waste. We encourage customers to visit our factory or other school sites where we have installed buildings during term time, to discuss the logistics, our performance and view the quality of our buildings.
At MRC we are committed to all aspects of workplace health and safety, which is now enhanced by our membership of Constructionline, the register of pre-qualified contractors and consultants. We have also been accepted under the Contractors' Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).

MRC Modular manufacture new high specification, relocatable accommodation units, constructed with a timber frame and timber roof trusses. With a steel chassis and wood joists, plus a choice of various external finishes - including plastisol coated plywood, Stoneflex, brick, timber, engineered timber cladding or a combination of these, as well as Weathercote textured finish.
Our fast and effective installation technique has been developed and proven over many years of experience. Specialist equipment, a highly trained workforce and a very flexible range of procedures combined to ensure the highest standard of professionalism from day one to hand-over. Delivery and installation is via our own fleet of HIAB vehicles, whilst we can also accommodate the requirement for a static crane as and when conditions dictate.
Long-life external finishes are used and both these and the roof performance are guaranteed (depending on the product used). All external windows are zero-maintenance PVC framed and all guttering is in maintenance-free PVC.
Although our standard external finish is plastersol coated plywood, we can offer engineered timber, brick and Stoneflex finishes to the external walls which require no maintenance; timber cladding or a textured Weathercote finish which requires a colourwash every five years - a single day's work for a standard 3 bay block.No internal decoration is required as we use vinyl-faced plasterboard to all walls and ceilings.
