Martyn is the founder and owner of family-run Hearing Aid Solutions, with three clinics in Carmarthen, Llanelli and Cardiff. He and his fellow audiologists also work from three hospitals, and five other satellite centres across South and West Wales. Qualifying as a registered hearing aid dispenser in 1993, Martyn previously served in the Royal Air Force for nine years.

Hearing Aid Solutions usually remove ear wax via microsuction. It's called microsuction because we use a microscope to look in your ear canal, and a suction probe to remove the wax/debris build up. As well as microsuction, we are also qualified to remove wax via traditional irrigation, manual removal and endoscopic removal.
The hearing test consists firstly of a questionnaire to identify case history, priorities and lifestyle requirements. We will then confirm that there are no physical reasons why you are not hearing e.g., wax, perforations or any other referable conditions. If wax is present, you can now take advantage of our in house wax removal service.
Our lenders ask simple, but relevant questions and your data is kept private at all times. Finance applications only run soft credit checks, so if your application is unsuccessful your credit score won't be affected. If you're approved, you just need to choose when you want payments to be collected each month and you can start the loan right away.

I have problems with my ears and wax build up , become so blocked that I am in pain in my ears , head and neck . I normally had them syringed at my doctors but they no longer offer the service . I am so pleased that I chose hearing aid solutions, i had micro suction treatment, it was fabulous, extremely quick , pain free and very effective. Tasha the lady that did my treatment was amazing , very patient, professional and a lovley person . I will definitely be going back there for treatment.

Took my 91 year old uncle for his appointment for ear wax removal. We had to travel an hour to obtain this service due to local doctor surgery no longer providing this service!! Strict COVID-19 guidelines were in place which made us feel safe and relaxed. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Although we had to wait a while we were continuously updated and treatment was thorough and we were well informed. My uncle was glad of welsh language service too! Diolch yn fawr

The patience that Mike has for what I consider to be very complex requirements not just hearing loss, I wouldn't hesitate recommending him, I've already mentioned the fantastic service to a couple of prospective colleagues, and all this through covid. Martyn cured my deafness from wax build up by using the suction method. He ended up doing both ears because when he checked my right ear he could see some build up although not as bad as the left ear. Really liked how he shows you the inside of your ears on the screens, really fascinating. Completely painless and worth every penny. Would recommend them to anyone. All the staff are really nice and friendly.
