KATO Precision partnered with KATO Entex (formerly Entex Springs) who were renowned for their spring design and manufacturing knowledge in the UK. Installed the first Cleanroom Facility in a UK Spring Factory for entering the Medical and Pharmaceutical markets.
Bespoke production machines and processes continued to be designed and built in house to increase production speeds. Continued internal development of bespoke production machines increasing speeds by 5 times as well as the capability to produce the World's smallest wire insert. Advanex Europe (including KATO CoilThread) are one of the World Leaders in the Spring, Threaded Insert and Precision Component Markets.
