Founded in the 1967 when Bob Aspin & Tom Stephenson (known locally as owd Bob Tinner and Tommy Tinner) bought Sutcliffe Sheet Metal based on Ormerod St Rawtenstall. The partnership of Bob And Tom formed Rossendale Sheet Metal Co and was based at New Hall Hey Rawtenstall for 2 years then moved to Dobbin Lane Higher Cloughfold Rossendale.

We have been manufacturing micro's for over 20 years and gained a vast amount of experience producing over 300 breweries/1500 vessels. We make all the Brewhouse vessels which include Hot & Cold Liquor Tanks, Mash Tuns and Copper vessels.
To your design, we manufacture in house components for the extraction systems, from part to full systems, assemble and install them on site for you as part of a larger project. The main components are canopies and ducting from 1mm to 3mm thick in mild steel, galvanised, stainless steel and aluminium.
We have over 50 years experience welding and fabricating aluminium to our customers requirements. Our capacity is up to 3M x 6mm thick for forming and shearing using both TIG and Senergic MIG welding processes. We can also weld and fabricate various sections as required by our customers.

Installation is a significant aspect of our aluminium work, some of the pieces are large and require additional fittings to be manufactured.

With our welding and fabrication we work closely with all our customers at every step to ensure their satisfaction. We visit sites to design, measure and install with all the fabrications made in our workshop. The materials used includes Mild Steel, Stainless steel and Aluminium, in box section, beams, columns, channels & diameters.
