Regardless of age or ability we aim to ensure all players enjoy learning their chosen game. The facilities include four indoor acrylic tennis courts, complete with brand new state of the art lighting, six outdoor tennis courts of which four are floodlit, five squash courts and two Padel tennis courts.

Our aim is to offer top quality coaching with emphases on both high performance and making sport accessible for all. Singles mini leagues where you can play against different opponents and meet other members. This is an introduction to tennis.
Simon is a former World No3 on the PSA World Tour and was British Champion in 1998 and US Open Champion in 1999. He was also World Junior Champion back in 1990. He retired from the PSA World circuit in 2006 and has been coaching ever since. He is a Level 3 England Squash Coach and was Heaton's Head Coach (2005-12).
Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club pioneered the introduction of Padel Tennis in the UK in 2011 with the launch of the Ellesse Padel Academy. The sport has grown very rapidly right across Europe since then, with over 50 courts established in the UK in 2021, and many more being planned. In 2021 here at Huddersfield we installed an all weather canopy to allow play all year round.
Structured coaching programme to ensure pupils fulfill their full potential whatever their age and ability. There is a clearly defined programme, which guides juniors from their beginnings at the club in our accredited mini tennis programme to their progression to Club, County and National Futures levels.
The gym is equipped with a wide range of fitness machines and free weights. The treadmills, cross trainers, rowers and exercise bikes are Matrix branded equipment. We also have a selection of Matrix resistance machines for upper body and lower body training. For those who enjoy lifting we have a power rack and a full set of Olympic free weights.
