David has over 20 years' experience of leadership both in the military and business. After growing up on a farm David joined the Army and led soldiers on operations around the world including Northern Ireland, Kosovo and Iraq. While leading his troops in action in Basra, David was badly wounded and given only a 5% chance of survival.
Despite this he recovered but after 4 years of intensive rehabilitation had to leave the Army in 2008 and go back to the farm. He was soon asked to return to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst to talk on leadership and has since worked with a range of organisations and businesses, helping them improve their leadership and team performance.
