Love this second hand music shop. So very few still standing. Cannot understand how anyone can write negative reviews about about any shop. Must have very little to do with your time. He works 10 hours a day , 6 days a week to make an honest decent living . If you don't like his shop DO NOT go in. Please contact me, I work with a newspaper, would love to get you pieces of s...t on STV to voice your opinion.

I can't remember what year it was but I got ripped off just because I was wanting Ghost Recon Future Soldier Limited Edition brand new on PS3 and ripped off again but higher for the shipping cost so instead I refused the whole thing as I felt heavily insulted and disgusted over how much I would have had to pay for that particular Ghost Recon game brand new on PS3 and the price for the shipping and from the owner deciding to pull a very fast one on me for laughs I have not returned and I will never return to a rip off artist as I would rather give my money to CeX and Game since I can rely on them

My experience at Backtracks was wonderful! In the last minute i had to find a Footloose soundtrack cassette tape that I couldn't find anywhere. So then Tommy wrote me back after my request saying he got one! Apart from this, Tommy was very kind and very friendly and I bought some other rare items for my collection in a really good conditions. Definitely I'll be back! Everybody cut footloose!

I've been looking for audiobooks for ages but most second hand shops don't have any. This place does and I bought several, at a very good price.
This shop is more like a museum than a shop as it's full of old material, stacked up ingeniously. The way the owner moves around is remarkable and someone should make a video of him.
I chatted to the owner (Tommy Robertson) and he's been doing this for over 20 years. it's an old fashioned shop which is now a rarity and for that reason alone it's worth a visit.
He also has a series of great vinyl albums, films on DVD and VHS, endless CDs, old video games
