We have a rescue pooch from Romania who's had a pretty crappy start to life so was a little cautious, especially as he has a bad leg. I have to say Scott has been brilliant. John loves putting on his boot and going for a long sniff around the heath and meeting other dogs. Scott has house sat for us a number of times too and always takes great care of our home and plants while we are away.
Our dogs are wholly dependent on us; they need companionship and thrive from regular exercise. Walking is a vital part of a dog's life. However, sometimes we lead very hectic lives with long working hours. Sometimes, we could all do with a little extra help trying to fit everything into our day. Let Scottie's Dogs help by taking your best friend for a walk while you are at work or simply too busy.
If you live in Bishop's Stortford, Stansted and the surrounding area and are going away and would like your dog or pet to stay in the comfort of their own home, then Scottie's Dogs offer a pawesome In-home pet sitting service! My in-home service is often for people who are worried about asking family and friends or don't want to take their pets to kennels or a cattery because it can be an upsetting and stressful experience for them.
We don't own cats. They own us. Our cute feline rulers are very territorial and hate to be separated from their kingdom. Home is where they feel relaxed, safe and happy. Cats are also creatures of habit and have a routine. Every day like clockwork, they wake us up - either by deliberately scratching our favourite piece of furniture or jumping on our backs - so we get up and feed them.
Getting a new puppy is an exciting time, and you just want to spend every moment bonding and playing with your new fluff ball. However, it is not all fun and games. Puppyhood is one of the most challenging times for dog parents as puppies require a lot of time and attention from their new owners. They need mental stimulation and lots of playtime and shouldn't be left on their own for too long.

HIGHLY recommend Scottie's Dogs. Scott has really helped with our rescue dog Wombat who wasn't a big fan of other dogs but she has come along away since Scott first started walking her. He has helped us get over some hurdles with her and that's indicative of his patience, understanding and real love of dogs. We have total peace of mind, leaving her with him. Wombat loves Scott and is always so excited to see him!!

Scottie’s Dogs is just perfect, takes away all the worry about leaving my pets. Scott entertained my 3 dogs and 3 tortoises all day, they just love him. It was a perfect service, he came to my home before we left and just stayed until we returned quiet late in the evening. His house sitting service is great. Games, cuddles, walks, dinners and sleeps. I couldn’t recommend him enough. My pets just love him.

Scott has been absolutely fantastic with our dog Alfie, he absolutely loves going out for fun walks with Scott and is always so excited to see him, they have a lovely bond which is fantastic as an owner as it really puts my mind at rest that he is in good hands and is being looked after, I wouldn’t use anyone else now and can highly recommend Scott and I know Alfie would agree ❤️

I can't recommend Scott highly enough. He walks my dog regularly and looks after him when I go away. Whenever Scott comes to the door Buddy is so excited and can't wait to go and have some fun with him. Scott cares about his dogs as if they were his own and is extremely reliable, trustworthy and an all-round great person!

Scott recently looked after my cat Belle while I was away for a long weekend. I wouldn’t leave my cat on her own and have someone just pop in and out. She likes company too much. I’m not able to take her somewhere else either as she’d be so frightened. I tried to find someone but it was really difficult to find someone that would stay and look after her in my home. They wanted me to bring the cat to their house instead. Therefore, finding Scott was a real god send. He was really friendly and I could tell how much he loved cats. He always kept me updated when I was away and I loved the pics

Scott was recommended to me to house sit my 2 pups just 3 months old. He did a home visit, prepared a full comprehensive contract and kept in touch with me prior to his stay.
The puppies loved him and he clearly was extremely attentive to them as they had formed a great bond.
Dog sitting rates are extremely competitive and I’m sure the extra work my pups created was not charged for.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Scottie’s Dogs to any owner and really look forward to using Scott again.

As all pet lovers know the welfare of their dogs is paramount and finding that right person to look after them should you need to go away is so important. Well we can really recommend Scott! For the first time in a long time since we got our two rescue dogs we were able to go away for a relaxing stress free weekend knowing our boys were being looked after and cared for in their own home. Scott also looked after my tropical fish, kept the house tidy and most of all kept us informed on how our boys were doing. We will definitely be using Scott again. Throughly recommend Scotties Dogs. I had Scott take Oscar for walks for a week whilst I had work commitments. During our first meeting, Scott was really friendly and by the way he interacted with Oscar I knew he was going to take good care of him. Scott was really professional and had all the correct forms etc which made me feel relaxed and reassured. Scott was great at keeping me informed during the week and I really appreciated the lovely pictures he sent to me. At the end of the week, when Scott came to return my keys, I knew by Oscar’s behaviour (kept trying to sit on Scott’s lap and lick him) that Oscar really liked him

Highly recommended. Scott stayed with my furry baby at home for four nights. Looked after him really well and sent me photos of my boy every day. Scott is reliable, very kind and watered the plants in the garden. It was a pleasure to meet Scott just two days before I went away. Scott does dog walking as well. Please do avail of his services when needed.....

On first meeting with Scott felt more than comfortable knowing both our dogs would be well looked after. Scott is certainly very caring and has a love for animals and walking, which means we have 2 very happy dogs when he visits. We have now called on Scott's services for dog sitting and walking on a number of occasions and additionally looking after our garden and plants whilst away. Scott is very trustworthy and certainly provides an excellent service. He has built a lovely relationship with both our dogs and I know they are both well looked after when we need.

Scott has looked after my cat Radiance a couple of times whilst I have been on holiday. Radiance really warmed to Scott. He has a kind and caring nature towards her. Scott sent me a couple of photos of them together whilst I was away which put my mind at rest. She doesn't sit on anyones lap but mine, but I was sent a photo of her tucked up on Scott's lap. She enjoyed his company. I would recommend Scott for pet sitting and will be using his services again. 👍

I can highly recommend Scottie’s Dogs! Scott had a great relationship with my dog from the word go, it’s clear he has a very keen interest in animals. We have a very stubborn English Bull Terrier who decides as and when he wants to be walked. Most of the time he doesn’t want to be walked, much preferring to sleep on the sofa! When Scott arrives he’s over the moon to see him, jumping up and down like a puppy and can’t wait to get his lead on. He loves him.
I would highly recommend Scottie’s dogs. He’s very Professional, fully committed and nothing is too much.
