Booker Aviation is well equipped to meet the needs of everyone from the complete beginner to the professional pilot. You can learn as little or as much as you like. Enough to get you to France for lunch; enough to fly at night or enough to teach other people to fly. It's a great thrill to arrive at a new destination in charge of your own aircraft.
A truly fabulous gift for anyone of any age* and also a perfect introduction to flying for those who want to take a small step first. A trial flying lesson is a short flight lasting from 30 minutes in the air, during which your flight instructor will allow you to have full control of the aeroplane for as long as is safely possible.
The Private Pilot Licence is the first stage of flight training for a modular student and lays the important foundations of flying and navigational skills that will be built upon for the rest of your flight training and the whole of your flying career. There are no specific pre-entry requirements before commencing your PPL course.
The LAPL is ideal for people who want to fly for recreational purposes or who are unable to satisfy the more stringent medical requirements for a Private or Commercial Pilot Licence. The LAPL(A) is different to other licences types in that it does not have an aircraft class ratings with exoiry dates that need revalidation.

The receptionist lies for them. Carol, when I speak to her she admitted to me that she has other things she needs to do rather than commit to my flight exam that was pre booked months in advance. They have

This has to be the worse place to go to, if I could give it no stars, I would. I paid them using a cheque so the first two days I went, they made up weather excuses because really the cheque won't cleared. After it was, I began my training but unfortunately the trainer was a rookie so he never did the plane checks during a lesson because someone before him went up so he assumed it was fine which IT WASN'T!. As we were going up, he had to do an emergency landing because he realized some instruments won't working. I transferred after 5 terrible lessons to another place because they supplied terrible

Booker Aviation and all the staff are the most helpful and professional you could ask for. Having visited many other schools over the years the staff at Booker always make you welcome back again. If you need flying training they are without doubt the best. Also the duty crew are the most helpful and friendly! 10/10
