This is the best student accommodation in Carlisle! After looking around at other options in the city this was clearly head and shoulders above the rest. Most notably - the accommodation has a great location - a very short walk into the city centre for shopping or pubs/clubs or the rail/bus stations.

It also has plenty of off-street parking which was great for dropping off and occassional visits. The rooms are a very good size - our son had a double bed and wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and desk. The ensuite bathroom included a good-sized shower and full-size sink. The kitchens are spacious, clean and come with pans/crockery/cutlery provided which is a bonus and saves having to bring your own.
Services
Unest has properties, rooms and accommodation suitable for students, nurses, trainee teachers and young professionals in Unest, and at Woodview - 50 Victoria place Carlisle. The location of Unest accommodation is great for students! We are in the heart of Carlisle, just a few moments from the city center, and a few minutes walk from the University of Cumbrias Fusehill Street Campus.

My huge, double bed and ensuite room was only £2 a week more expensive than the rooms at Fusehill Street halls. Unest offer rooms that are cheaper than the halls and they are all spacious and clean.
So much space for belongings in comparison to the halls as well.

My son is now spending his 3rd year of his University in this accommodation. We looked at the campus accommodation 1st and this place is much more suited for my son (quiet) and also much better price.
It's in a great location for the University and town centre. The building is Clean and secure and cannot fault the service from Ian who is spot on and if any small issues he sorts them straight away.
I feel my son is safe and in good hands in this place and would 100% recommend this accommodation.

Clean, neat, nice size rooms, reasonable prices. Great kitchens supplied with all accessories. Disabled access is available to the front desk. The room my son is in would be wheelchair accessible including the bathroom. Although he had a standing shower. Wonderful helpful staff who are happy to help with all enquiries. Extremely happy student & extremely happy parents.

A slightly strange review as I haven't stayed in the Unest accommodation, however, this review is for Ian and Matt, who are the most amazing landlords and genuine people. Ian and Matt helped me during an extremely difficult situation and managed to support me through what was a very stressful time. Without the kindness and generosity of Ian and Matt I would be in a very different position at the moment. Unfortunately I was unable to live at Unest this year, however, I will make sure I'm there next year for the third and final year at university. Ian and Matt are not your typical landlords, they

Had an amazing experience with Unest! Our flat was lovely and any problems we had Ian was really helpful and responsive, even offering any help during the pandemic. Staying at Unest made our last couple years of uni much less stressful, thank you! 😊

Brilliant student accommodation in Carlisle! Kitchens are fantastic and the general layout is great. Location is good too as it's only a 6 min (0.3 mi) straight walk down one road to get into town, and less than 10 minute walk to the uni on Fusehill st. Very glad I managed to get accommodation here after I seen where some of my friends have had to live! To say they were jealous would be a huge understatement!
