Owner-managed and compassionate residential care for dementia sufferers including intermediate, respite and day care services. Seahorses-situated in the Wiltshire village of Chiseldon-is six miles from the historic market town of Marlborough and close to Swindon, one of the county's largest towns. Road connections to both centres are good.

Although residents can enjoy beautiful views of the Marlborough Downs and Liddington Castle, dementia care is provided in a secluded environment, ensuring our guests experience the privacy and peace and quiet they value. For older people in need of dementia care, Seahorses feels more like a home-from-home than any large and impersonal institution can offer.
Services
A cheerful, positive and friendly approach is both encouraging and stimulating for residents. We aim to give individual time and care to each resident, encouraging personal independence where possible through dignity in a cheerful and pleasant environment. This is supported through individual care planning regular training for health care assistants to the recognised NVQ standard, a professional care team and a highly qualified manager.
Emphasis has been placed on single room accommodation to ensure privacy and dignity. Many of our rooms have ensuite facilities and all have nurse call and television points. We want our residents to feel at "Home" and therefore encourage you to bring any personal possessions or furniture.

We pay particular attention to the quality and variety of our menu as we fully appreciate and recognise the importance of a wholesome diet contributing to the quality of a resident's life.Individual likes and dislikes are catered for and visitors of residents are welcome to stay for lunch. Provision is made for dietary requirements with vegetarian and diabetics catered for.
Thank you to you all for the way in which you have looked after Mum during her stay. It has been greatly appreciated. She has been very happy while with you here at Seahorses. Many many thanks to you all. Thank you for all the love, care and friendship you have given to Alan, my Dad, and for making us feel so welcome when we visited.
