I've worked for 39 years in the Lincolnshire Wolds, in the building I converted from the derelict village forge. I follow a craft tradition of hand-made furniture and joinery, including restoration, repair and conservation. I produce good quality work, using locally sourced wood wherever possible. Each piece of work is unique, a result of the process of personal consultation with my customers, developing their ideas and offering my own.
I am happy to work from detailed plans, rough sketches, photographs or just vague descriptions, so that together we arrive at what you have in mind. Over the years I have worked for a wide range of people: private customers, conservationists, architects, churches, schools, interior decorators and builders (I am recommended by the conservation department of the local council for work on listed buildings).

Services
Refectory table, made from oak salvaged from beams that collapsed into this same space during the devastating fire of 1991 in this Lincolnshire country house. Painted bookcase, made from a photograph of a piece that the customer had missed in a sale. First picture shows work in primer, the second one shows the finished piece.
Dear Peter, On behalf of the Saltfleetby Parish Council may I express its gratitude for the excellent oak gate that you made and hung at St Clements churchyard, it is a beautiful gate and has helped bring the Lychgate back to the lovely structure that it originally was. Thankyou also for your assistance in bringing the project in within the tight timescale that we had.
