After qualifying through the National Design Academy and initially working from home making curtains and roman blinds for friends and family, Philip Cooper Curtain Makers was established in 2005. It quickly became apparent that people appreciated quality and the orders kept coming in. It's word of mouth and satisfied customers that really sell our products and that's why the business has continued to expand.
In 2010 there was an urgent need for much more space. Philip Cooper Curtain Makers move into the Studio in late 2011 but haven't yet had the opportunity to unpack completely or even decorate! We like to work closely with our customers no matter how big or small the project is. That makes for a very personal service and that's why, coupled with a quality product at the right price, our customers keep coming back.

We offer a comprehensive range of styles for both curtains and blinds and their associated accessories such as pelmets, tie-backs and scatter cushions. With access to the most fashionable or traditional fabrics, we provide a complete service right through to fitting if required. Finding the right fabric, at the right price for your project is just the begining and might not be as straight forward as you would imagine.
We offer a range of courses designed to meet specific requirements. Whether you're an absolute beginner, keen hobbyist looking to expand your skills set or are about to set off on a new and exciting career path; we'll have something that's just right for you. The courses will be limited to 3 or 4 trainees as a maximum.
