Richard Arthur is a fully qualified and insured chiropractor registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), if you live in the Northumberland area and are having issues with back and neck pain then he may be able to help you. D.D. Palmer, the founder of Chiropractic in 1895, discovered by chance that he was able to restore a patient's hearing by manipulation.

This made him realise that by manipulation not only was he able to reduce back pain but he was also able to help other ailments. Animals like humans have back and neck pain due to injuries acquired due to falls etc. and they can benefit from Chiropractic treatment. At every equestrian event and athletic competition there are many horses working well below their potential due to pain and stiffness.

Richard Arthur is a fully qualified and insured chiropractor registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), if you live in the Northumberland area and are having issues with back and neck pain then he may be able to help you. Richard Arthur was trained by John McTimoney completing his training in 1975 in both Human and Equine Chiropractic.
How can we ever thank you enough for curing my dog Sam who really has suffered these last six months. Since your manipulation he has never looked back and is quite free of pain and starting to put back condition. He is a different horse since your visit which is great. Really wants to use himself and jump which is terrific.
D.D. Palmer, the founder of Chiropractic in 1895, discovered by chance that he was able to restore a patient's hearing by manipulation. This made him realise that by manipulation not only was he able to reduce back pain but he was also able to help other ailments. This has proved to be true to some extent with chiropractic today both for animals and humans.
In the late 1950s John McTimoney adapted his human Chiropractic technique to suit dogs and other animals. This proved to be extremely successful. The technique is similar to that used in human manipulation and the adjustments are light and swift causing the animal little discomfort. In most cases the dogs accept the manipulation willingly and in some cases even enjoy it.

Years ago Richard treated my neck pain. The process was painless, the following day I felt as if I'd been run over by a roadroller but my mobility and pain were so much better. In a few days I had normal movement and was pain free.
