Manufacturers of aircraft mechanical control cables, specialised machine components, mechanical assemblies, aerofoil sections, streamline wires and tie rods - Bruntons have over a century of experience in the Aviation Industry. 1909 John D. Brunton introduced the first streamline bracing wire and offered it to the War Office.
Swaged, pressed or hand spliced cable assemblies are manufactured to comply with international standard specifications or customer's drawings. Applications for our cable assemblies include Flight Control Systems, Release Mechanism Cables, Retaining Cables and Cords, Helicopter Winch Cables, Cross Runway Arrester Pendants etc.
Streamline wires and tie rods are produced to dimensions and tolerances in accordance with relevant specifications or to customers' specific requirements or drawings. As well as vintage, experimental and sport aerobatic aircraft are catered for. All wires and rods are produced from stainless steel, feature superior rolled threads and are available with either a satin or highly polished finish.
