Services
Alternatively we also operate a complaints procedure as part of the NHS system of dealing with complaints. Our procedure meets national criteria & Our Pharmacist can give you further information. The NHS has its own complaints procedure, which is always the first step for any complaint. You can find detailed information about the NHS complaints procedure on NHS Choices.
Alternatively you can also download our FREE app and order your repeat prescription anytime, anywhere on your smart phone or tablet. We strongly recommend you request your repeat prescription a minimum of 5 working days before you run out of your medication. If you have less than 2 days supply, please contact your surgery directly and ask for an urgent prescription to be issued to us.
Please hand your prescription in at the Pharmacy counter and the dispensary team will prepare your medication. Our Pharmacist is always on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have about any medication you are taking. Please do not hesitate to ask if you are unsure of the dosage of your medication and if you are concerned about any potential side effects.
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS Service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from. If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription.
The Care at the Chemist scheme allows the Pharmacist to provide you with a wide variety of medicines for many minor ailments, to prevent you having to wait for an appointment with your GP.

Conditions covered by the scheme include Coughs and Colds, Pain and Inflammation, Indigestion and Heartburn, Cystitis and Thrush, Conjunctivitis, Mouth Ulcers and Cold Sores, Allergies and Hay fever, Dermatitis and Athlete's Foot, Warts and Verrucae, Head Lice, as well as many others. This supply of medication is FREE of charge if you are normally exempt from prescription charges or hold a pre-payment certificate.

This is a brand new pharmacy with seating for more than 4 visitors. There is also a room for consultations in privacy. The Staff is very helpful and courteous. Home delivery is available for the disabled. Parking could be limited during the busy hours of the the adjoining medical centre.
