Sula Furnishing
Nestling in a beautiful valley in Highland Perthshire, Sula's workshop is based in the village of Strathyre, making hand-crafted soft furnishings including curtains and blinds, throws and cushions as well as fine upholstered furniture using their signature Harris Tweeds and Scottish wools. We have some retail space at The Melt Gallery in Bonnethill Road, Pitlochry.

Owner Catriona MacGeoch founded Sula in 2005, and although Sula's home is in Perthshire, the heart of the business, and Catriona herself, really belong to the islands of the Outer Hebrides.
Services
At Sula we work with both professional designers and owners of private houses, self catering holiday lodges and luxury or boutique hotels. Our exacting standards and unstinting perfectionism mean the finish of all our work is of an incredibly high standard, from the thick interlining of our curtains to the elegant fur trimming on a sumptuous throw.
At Sula Soft Furnishings & Interiors we offer a complete upholstery service, using traditional and modern methods, for all clients including professional interior designers, hotels, boutique B&Bs as well as substantial country estates, houses and castles.

For new owners who want to refresh existing chairs, headboards and the like, or anyone who wants to breathe new life into their home, upholstery is a fantastic (and environmentally-friendly) way to create a stylish new look. You are very welcome to visit our Perthshire workshop to discuss upcycling armchairs, dining chairs and stools.
Harris Tweed is the cloth of choice for Sula, given its rich history and undisputed status as one of the world's highest quality textiles. Along with its beautifully luxurious feel, it is also the very personal resonance of Hebridean weaving which makes it so special to owner and maker Catriona MacGeoch.
You can make an appointment to visit the new Sula workshop in Strathyre where everything is crafted by hand - Catriona and her team are always happy to advise, and can also show you how Harris Tweed can work beautifully as curtains and blinds as well as bed covers and headboards. Take a trip to The Melt Gallery and pick up something gorgeous for your house or fill your present drawer with some unique gifts.
A traditional stone croft house built by the grandfather of Sula owner Catriona MacGeoch, Stoneyfield dates back to around 1890 and is situated in the small village of Flesherin on the Point peninsula. The main town of Stornoway, Stornoway Airport and the Ferry Terminal are only a 10 minute drive away.

A wonderful place to find a uniquely scottish gift, beautifully designed, delivered on time to my exact design brief.
The antler coffee table, covered in beautiful Harris tweed and delivered before Christmas to Suffolk, has already been much admired.
