First time visit and was very impressed. Staff and service was good alongside very tasty excellent food. Good selection of Vegetarian dishes, especially the curry was super tasty. We will definitely be back again, we came to celebrate my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Thankyou Shamrat for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere.

This is one exceptional restaurant. We came over from the US and wanted to check out a half decent Indian restaurant. yelp reviews were great so my wife and I decided to check it for lunch . It was exceptional in every aspect . The food was the best I have had for a long time . We had shared tandoori starters . The kebabs were cooked to perfection and the onion Bhaji was not oily. The samosa was delicious . The lamb Bhuna
and chicken tikka were just great dishes .
Highly recommend to anyone with a discerning palette.

Lived in the stone all my life and I have travelled around the UK for work, I have never found an Indian restaurant as good as the Shamrat.
My favourite dish is the Jal Masala and the closest you will get to this across the land is a garlic chilli dish (not as good by far)

This is my favourite Indian of all time. I have the Thali Starter and a tandoori mixed grill. Best mixed grill I have had anywhere. It has Lamb chops, king prawns, chicken, kebabs etc
I have only had takeaway from here but the diners in the restaurant seemed to be having a great time and all seem to know the owner. It seems everyone knows eachother and the staff just love doing their job.
