We are delighted with our new roof and slate-hung walls, which have received compliments from our neighbours. Pete provided a very competitive quote but, more importantly, he is a real expert with a lovely manner and a great team who were polite, considerate and very efficient. There were some delays beyond their control but we were kept very well informed, and prompt catch-up work was carried out later. Amazingly, no money was requested until the work was completed (unlike some competitors who requested 50% even before coming on site). Overall, a top team, great result and very highly recommended.

Our 1890 substantial farm house was in urgent need of a new roof. Pete Nicholls came to have a look and it was immediately clear to me he understood what we were looking for and had all the skills required to do a great job for a fair price.
6 weeks later Pete and his team started on site. They skilfully removed the existing Delabole slates with minimal losses. Once stripped any timber repairs were undertaken, new velux windows fitted, 2 layers of super foil insulation installed along with an actual mile of new battening! This was a big roof! All new lead work and finally the original Delabole slates were clipped back in place capped off by the original ridge tiles, which had also been salvaged.
The roof looks fantastic and has saved the property which is still undergoing full renovation, the excellent level of roof insulation has transformed the 2nd floor rooms.
Throughout the job Pete and his team were always punctual and worked very hard to an exceptional standard of craftsmanship, sometimes in the most difficult of conditions. The roof was finished on time, for the price quoted and we could not be more pleased with the result. Pete is highly skilled on roofs and we have a few more to do so I will look forward to welcoming back in the future.

Pete and his team recently completed the re-roofing of our bungalow.
