Services
We opened in 2012, keen to offer guests nostalgic, comfortable camping, b&b and activity experiences. Our mission has always been to give our guests what we would want from a break in the country and for them to leave us relaxed and happy. If its camping we want our guests to have space to breathe, room for the children to run and play, camp fires, friendly helpful staff, wide open spaces and hear laughter in the air.
Fourwinds is possibly our favourite campsite and we visit often to relax. The best parts for us are the huge pitches with fire pits, the river for paddle sports and. What a lovely place to stay, clean and everything you could need inside the Shepard Hut. John and Beverly are very friendly and make a delicious breakfast delivered to the.
We are located just outside the pretty market town of March in Cambridgeshire and surrounded by open farmland, big skies and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Our property backs the Old River Nene, giving our guests access to one of the Fen's gentle waterways. Enjoy a leisurely walk along its bank and watch the narrow boats and swans pass by or some fishing and canoeing off our private mooring.
We love to serve our guests homely good quality food, whether it's a our award winning breakfast delivered to your b&b room, a succulent BBQ Friday Platter, or a breakfast plate or Camp Supper prepared for your party for eating together at base camp.

Just back from a fab 4 nights in the log cabin. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location is great for canoeing from their private jetty down the river to March. We enjoyed archery with John and we loved the cabin which was well equipped and cosy. The firepit and BBQ were an added bonus. We will be back!

Have stayed here several times and have always loved my time spent there. I’m reviewing again, since the pandemic has changed the way we all live and socialise. John and Bev have done an amazing job at putting in distancing measures and communicating them before visiting so you know exactly what to expect. It works well and have had yet another great weekend at Fourwinds

Just spent 3 nights in the cabin. great to see the extra measures in place to reduce any risk of catching coronavirus. loads of room on the campsite to allow for social distancing. The staff were very helpfull… and friendly, the location is great for my partners love of military aircraft (we visited a few bases during the visit). the village of March and surrounding area has lots of shops and places to eat. We will be looking to book again for next year as we really enjoyed our stay.
