Our craftsmen create bespoke timber windows and doors in the Highlands of Scotland, using naturally strong and beautifully grained luxury timber. We are a family run business that can trace its roots back to the early 1960s when Treecraft was first established in Doncaster. In the early 80s Treecraft moved to Dornoch where we have been producing bespoke timber windows and doors for over 30 years.

Our sash and case windows are an example of how historic windows can be modernised to complement traditional buildings, whilst helping to keep your home or workspace draught free, reducing your heating costs and having a positive impact on the environment. Ours are an upgraded version of the most traditional Scottish window design.
A contemporary version of the traditional British window. Modern design and fittings, including stainless steel friction hinges instead of butt hinges, mean there is no requirement for a stay to hold the sash open. All our designs can be configured the way you want, we can hang windows from the top or either side.
This is a popular design that originated in Scandinavia, the sash can be fully reversed to allow the outside glazing to be cleaned internally. This is a good choice for first floor windows and over a certain size, the window complies with fire escape regulations. With a maximum opening size of 1550mm high, the sash can be larger than a casement window and can also be incorporated into larger window sets with fixed glazing units.
Combining the protection and low maintenance of aluminium on the outside, with the beauty and warmth of wood on the inside. All of our products are hand made in our purpose-built factory and we can build to your design and specification. This system uses a tilt and turn system which means the opening sash size is virtually unlimited.

We can help design and build feature glazed units that add style and interest to any building and take advantage of both the views and solar gain. We can frame landscapes using a "picture" window to really capture beautiful views from your new build home or renovation.
