Andy started his fly fishing over forty years ago when Bewl Bridge as it was known then opened for trout fishing. Andy along with his friends started the long journey of discovery which saw him become a capable bank angler. His transition to boats opened up a whole new world with new methods, tactics and waters to learn.
Andy Lush is a very experienced predator angler, fishing for Pike, Perch, Catfish and more recently Zander in the UK. Having achieved success fishing a variety of waters, Andy is best known for his exploits while boat fishing on Trout reservoirs in Southern England.
Andy has pursued predators in Canada, North America, Ireland, Scotland, France, Holland and Spain, catching Pike, Perch, Walleye, Zander, Lake Trout, Salmon, Sturgeon, Small Mouth & Large Mouth Bass, Alligator Garfish, Channel Catfish, Wels Catfish, Musky, Comizo Barbel, Aspe, Ide, Tarpon, Bonefish and Barracuda.Having recently retired Andy is now offering guided lure fishing and fly fishing days on a variety of waters.

I couldn't recommend them highly enough, offering a fantastic service and range of competitively priced products you would struggle to beat! To be able to see all the tackle in one place and make a decision was just great, topped off with invaluable advice and tips from years of experience and genuine enthusiasm making my 200 mile round trip worth every penny and I can't wait to go back! Five stars not enough, but it'll have to do!!

Friendly fisherman is the best fishing store that I have been to Adam is all way helpful and friendly and if you ask for help Adam will all way help you out and the staff is all ways there to help you and if there is a bait you want and if it is not here they will try and find I other bait like it .

Despite another review I went there this morning. I am not a fisherman and wanted a few bits and advice for a boating holiday. I was served by Adam. Very helpful and informative.
