Vibrant Hearing was established in 2009 and has been a limited company since 2014. I started my business working from home then moved to Rake House Farm when I acquired Coastal Hearing two years ago. At the end of 2015 I also acquired Northumbria Hearing making me the biggest Independent in the North East.
The practice used to be part of the farm that was here and is a lovely place to work; our consulting rooms are light and bright and our waiting area has comfy seats and a bowl topped up with chocolates - help yourself! There is ample free parking and we are very easy to find opposite North Tyneside General Hospital.

Hi, I'm Brenda, business owner and dispenser at Vibrant Hearing. I qualified in 2006 but have had a varied career and previously worked for the Royal Institute of British Architects. After qualifying I spent time at Boots but have been an independent dispenser for 7 years. When you first come to see me you will always be assured of a warm welcome from myself and Lynn and a brew and biccie if you fancy.
As independent hearing aid providers, we are not tied to any one manufacturer. This means that we have complete freedom to recommend the best digital hearing aids to suit your needs and provide you with the best advice on the most suitable hearing solution for you. We work with manufacturers such as Phonak, Widex, Starkey and Siemens.
Lyric is an invisible, extended-wear hearing aid, which is designed to be worn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is truly invisible as it is specially placed deep in the ear canal and can be worn for months at a time. Is The Lyric Hearing Aid For You? Book an appointment today to find out more. Because of its position in the ear canal it provides an exceptional sound quality.
Over 11 million people in the UK suffer from some form of hearing loss, with the number on the increase, and on average it takes around ten years until it is actually addressed.
There's plenty of signs to tell you that you might have hearing loss - maybe when friends and family visit they tell you to turn the TV down, or you might find people always seem to be mumbling, leaving you feeling left out of conversations and asking those around you to repeat what they've just said.If those symptoms sound familiar to you, it is important to book an appointment for a hearing test to find out what the problem is.

At Vibrant Hearing, we have a friendly team who can ensure you get the treatment you require to improve your hearing. By having a hearing test, we can find out the cause of your hearing loss. If we discover the problem is caused by the degradation or damage of the small hair-like cells in your ear, it can be determined that you have sensorineural hearing loss.
