And because we recognise the importance of fine detailing and craftsmanship - hand-drawn designs, scale drawings and stone samples are also included as part of our service.

Templestone's Scottish Gothic - with a difference. This time we wrapped the sides of the chimney breast as well. Templestone were given the task of designing a fireplace to fit on a blank wall between a door and a Chalon cupboard. We supplied builders' drawings for the chimney breast to be rebuilt.

This surround is in a modern detached home, furnished and decorated brilliantly in a comfortable but very stylish manner. We produced the Staton in Portland Stone. The room is long so we designed a landscape surround to give width without a great deal of height. The chamber has been given a lime putty render and shelter coat finish to give it a clean open look.

This Fireplace was one of five that we have installed in this one magnificent Scottish home. If you follow all the images through you will see how it was put together and what a fantastic fireplace it is when completed. It is yet another fine fireplace to add to our collection.

We have produced and installed taller and heavier in completely different styles and in alternative stones but this one along with all of our other work makes me extremely proud.From an image given to us we changed the design and added details to make it our own. The natural stone is Bath limestone.

This lovely looking surround was carved from Hartham Park Bath stone. We wrapped the chimney breast with the surround which always adds to the grandeur of the whole setting. The flooring was unearthed from carpets and the hearth was made to fit within the aperture. All of our natural stone including slate hearths are cut to size by Templestone to suit each given situation.
