A very common type of device fitted to cars when they are wired for towing is an audible flasher monitor. The function of a flasher monitor is to meet the legal requirement to provide a warning, visible or audible, that the indicator lights of a drawn trailer are working or not working. A simple audible trailer flasher monitor that fits in-line in the yellow and green indicator wires of the 7-core trailer socket cable.

Insulation displacement connectors. The insulated wire is pressed into a slot that is designed to displace the insulation and remove oxides by deforming the wire with shear forces that produce localized plastic deformation. This is done in one motion and provides a very reliable, gas tight, high pressure interface between the wire and the terminal.
Some customers import pickups from the USA, many of which have their indicators combined with the brake lights. They need to adapt them to tow European type trailers with separate amber flashers. We were asked to design a simple solution. So we made the TF5101 American Car Adapter. The TF5101 Adapter works with a standard Smart Bypass relay (TF2218/7H).

I just wanted to express how professional Ryder Towing was for us. From the moment we called, they requested pics and provided us with an estimate time arrival.
