Choosing care for a loved one is so very important and you want to be sure you are making the right decision. With the facilities and staff we have in place at our centres we can make this decision easier for you. Comprehensive assessments are undertaken for all propsective residents before admission and tailor made plans are developed for all levels of complexity of needs assessed. The following conditions and nursing requirements are generally suitable for admission to our centres. However, every individual is different and therefore the following should only be taken as a general indication.
Gardens Neuro Centre and Jacobs Neuro Centre are 52 and 60 bedded Neurological Services Centres on the same site on the Hertfordshire and Essex border, within easy travelling distance of London and Cambridge. Brain or spinal injuries who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability.
For a successful transition to The Neurological Centres, ongoing care for the resident and family is managed by a multidisciplinary team that meets together regularly. Two highly specialised units which provide care for around 120 adults of all ages, who have experienced a traumatic brain injury, or long term neurological conditions. Often the centres' residents experience complex physical, cognitive or and/or behavioural problems. The residents may stay with us for weeks, months or years, dependent on their needs and wishes.

My Dad was taken to the gardens Neurological centre in 2013 from having a serious bacteria infection, so this caused a serious brain injury, spinal cord injury and got cognitive impairment from this.
